Smart charging

New feature

Smart charge your car without the need of a smart charger. The car will charge when energy prices are low, and will always be ready for you when you leave for work in the morning. You can also cap kWh hourly to avoid charging too much pr hour.

Trip tracking

When you go out for a drive, your trip are recorded from start to finish. Insights regarding this trip are calculated and shown to you for later use, like efficiency, avg. speeds, trip route in a map, duration, kWh used, % used etc.

Live data

Trip and charge data are shown in realtime when you have the application open in your car. It is easy to see meaningful insights as you drive or charge.

Battery temperature readings

See your battery temperature readings in realtime during a trip, or the average battery temp from a previous trip. For the nerdy ones, this is very useful.

Throttled charging

Do you charge at full speed when fast-charging or not? Based on crowd data, we know when your car charge slower than it should, and will notify you, with a reason. The days when you wonder why you charge so slow are over.

Dark mode

All apps should have dark mode, yes? Our dark mode will be automatic based on sunset/sunrise, and also toggle-able by the user.

Phantom drain analysis

Get full overview of your car usage of energy during last 24 hours. You can see what state drains the most, which gives you answers on what keeps draining the battery that you can’t figure out.

Sleep-friendly polling

Sinus is using advanced algorithms to let your car sleep when it wants. Your phantom drain should not increase when using this application.

Charge tracking

When you plug in the charger, either if its at home or at a fast-charger, you charge session will be recorded from start to finish. You will have meaningful data at your fingertips for each charge, like % added, kWh added, duration of charge, type of charge, charge curve, if charge is throttled etc.

Weather data

Both in charge sessions, trips and live data you will have access to detailed weather info, like temperature, precipitation, humidity, pressure, weather type etc.

Safe storage of credentials

We do only store the API-keys generated, which have restricted access. I.e. to remote start the car, you need both API-keys and username/password. These API keys are stored in a secure database which only one person have access to with two-factor authentication.

Pause polling

Do you want to pause the active polling from Sinus for a short period of time? No problem, you can pause the polling yourself in the settings.

Battery health

Are you afraid that your Tesla battery has lost power over the years? Take a health check with Sinus to find out the remaining capacity! You do not need to connect any equipment in the car.
